UTTC athletes delivered standout performances with big personal bests and multiple medals at the Athletics Ontario U14-U18 Championships.
Reigne Wilson led the way, winning gold in U18 Girls High Jump with a massive 1.68m clearance, improving her outdoor PB by 8cm after clearing 1.62m and 1.65m earlier in the competition.
The U18 Boys 4x400m relay team of Liam Carvalho, Rook Erechook, Luke Svenoy, and Alexander Kenny also claimed gold in a dominant 3:22.94 finish. Rook added a silver in the U16 Boys 300m with 35.75, while Abbie Li took silver in the U18 Girls 3000m Race Walk, narrowly missing a PB despite a 30-second penalty.
Fresh off her 14th birthday, Mikayla Burey earned silver in U16 Girls High Jump with 1.52m, her second time over 1.50m and third straight PB. She also placed 6th in Triple Jump (9.64m). Maya Dalmao-Caton grabbed bronze in U18 Girls Triple Jump with 11.18m, while Alexander Kenny (49.29) and Luke Svenoy (50.66) finished 4th and 7th in the U18 Boys 400m.
Rayna Banks sprinted to 8th place finishes in both the U18 Girls 100m (12.43) and 200m (25.03).
