Paul Osland

Mid-Distance Head Coach

Paul is a former member of the Canadian National Track and Field Team. He competed in numerous international events including the Olympic Games, the Commonwealth Games, the Pan American Games, and the World Student Games.

He holds the Ontario Open Indoor 600m record, which he set back in 1985, and continues to truly exemplify the belief in ‘athletics for life’. Since competing at the Masters level, Paul has won 18 World Masters Indoor and Outdoor Championship medals:

  • 2007 Riccione, Italy – Silver & Bronze
  • 2009 Lahti, Finland – 2 Silver & Bronze
  • 2010 Kamloops, Canada (Indoors) – Silver
  • 2011 Sacramento, USA – Silver
  • 2013 Porto Alegre, Brazil – 2 Bronze
  • 2014 Budapest, Hungary (Indoors) – Silver
  • 2016 Perth, Australia – Gold & Silver
  • 2017 Daegu, South Korea – 2 Gold & Silver
  • 2019 Torun, Poland – 2 Silver
  • In addition, Paul is the current CEO of Athletics Ontario.
